1 Q: How does Writers Axis work?▾
A: You submit a brief — topic, length, deadline, citation style, and any reference files. We match it to a vetted writer who specialises in that subject, and you follow the whole job on one shared order page: Assigned → Drafting → Review → Delivered. You review the draft, request changes if you need them, and approve when it's right. Your payment is only released to the writer after you approve.
2 Q: Do I need an account just to get a price?▾
A: No. Use the instant estimate on the homepage or the Order page before signing up. You only create an account — email and password, or "Continue with Google" — when you actually place the order, so we can save it and send you updates.
3 Q: How much does it cost?▾
A: Projects are priced per word, based on the academic or complexity level and the deadline. Indicative rates run from about $0.025/word at high-school level to $0.08/word at Ph.D. level; priority turnaround adds 25%. You always see the exact total on the review screen before you pay — no hidden fees and no subscription.
4 Q: What's included in the price?▾
A: The writing itself, a title page, formatting in your citation style, a reference list or bibliography, and your included revision rounds. There's no separate charge for outlines or standard formatting.
5 Q: How do I pay?▾
A: Securely through PayPal. You can use a PayPal balance or any major debit or credit card in the PayPal window — you don't need a PayPal account to pay by card.
6 Q: Is it safe to pay before the work is done?▾
A: Yes. Your payment is taken at checkout but the funds are held — they are not released to the writer until you've reviewed the final draft and approved it. If something's wrong, you have revisions and our on-time guarantee before any money moves on.
7 Q: Do you store my card details?▾
A: No. Card entry and payment processing happen entirely inside PayPal. Writers Axis never sees or stores your full card number.
8 Q: Will I get a receipt or invoice?▾
A: Yes. A receipt is generated on your dashboard for every payment, with the order reference and a downloadable PDF.
9 Q: How long until a writer is assigned to my order?▾
A: Most briefs are matched within a few hours on business days. The moment it happens your order moves to "Assigned" on your dashboard and you can message the writer directly.
10 Q: What's the minimum notice for an order?▾
A: Three hours from now is the hard minimum, but very tight deadlines limit which writers can take the job and may carry a priority rate. For the best writer match, give at least 24–72 hours where you can.
11 Q: Can you handle urgent or same-day work?▾
A: Often, for shorter pieces. Choose the priority option at checkout for a faster turnaround (it adds 25%), or contact us about same-day rush on an Enterprise plan. The price estimate updates live as you change the deadline, so you always see the cost before committing.
12 Q: Is the work original and plagiarism-free?▾
A: Every deliverable is written from scratch for you and screened for similarity before it reaches your dashboard. It's referenced properly and stands up to Turnitin.
13 Q: Is the writing done by a person or by AI?▾
A: By a person — a vetted subject-matter writer. Because it's genuinely human-written, it also holds up to AI-writing detectors like GPTZero, QuillBot's analyzer, and Turnitin's AI indicator. You're welcome to run those checks yourself.
14 Q: Can I get a plagiarism or originality report?▾
A: We run internal similarity checks on every order. If you need a formal report attached to the delivery, ask your writer in the order chat. There's also a free plagiarism checker on the site you can use any time.
15 Q: Who are the writers, and are they qualified?▾
? A: Writers apply and are vetted by craft — a graded writing test, a subject interview, and a supervised trial project — before they touch a client brief. Many hold advanced degrees in their field. You can see a sample of the roster on the Writers page.
16 Q: Can I choose my writer?▾
A: For your first order we match you to the best-fit specialist for the subject and deadline. After that you can request the same writer again for continuity, and Enterprise clients get a named writer pool.
17 Q: Which citation styles do you support?▾
A: APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, IEEE, Vancouver and others — just set it in the brief. There's also a free Citation Generator on the site.
18 Q: How many revisions do I get?▾
A: Every order includes revision rounds, with more on the higher tiers. In practice we keep revising within the agreed scope until you're satisfied. Requests need to stay within the original brief — a new topic or a major scope change is a new order.
19 Q: How do I request a revision?▾
A: Open the order, click "Request revision," and add your notes. The same writer is notified immediately and your notes stay attached to the job — no re-briefing, no extra charge.
20 Q: What if the draft isn't what I expected?▾
A: That's what the review stage is for. Send specific notes from the order page and the same writer reworks it — included, not extra. If it still isn't right after that, contact us and we'll make it right or refund per the guarantee.
21 Q: What is the on-time guarantee?▾
A: 98% of orders land on or before the deadline. If we miss your deadline without agreeing a new one with you first, 15% of the order value is returned automatically.
22 Q: What's your refund policy?▾
A: Because funds are held until you approve, most issues are resolved with a revision before any money moves. If we can't deliver what you ordered, or we miss the deadline, you're entitled to a partial or full refund depending on the situation. Contact us and we'll sort it quickly.
23 Q: How do I know how my order is progressing?▾
A: One status ribbon — Assigned → Drafting → Review → Delivered — is visible to both you and your writer and always in sync. No status-chasing emails.
24 Q: How is the finished work delivered?▾
A: As downloadable files in your order's Documents panel, usually .docx and/or PDF. You get an email and an in-app notification the moment it's ready.
25 Q: Can I talk to my writer directly?▾
A: Yes — every order has built-in messaging. Ask questions, add context, or clarify scope without leaving the order. You'll be notified of replies.
26 Q: Can I upload my own materials?▾
A: Yes — attach briefs, rubrics, readings, data, or earlier drafts when you order, or any time before work starts (up to 10 MB per file). Your writer can upload revised versions back to the same order for you to review.
27 Q: Who owns the finished work?▾
A: You do. Once payment is released, the writer retains no rights to your deliverable. We never resell, publish, or reuse anything you send us or anything we write for you.
28 Q: Is my information private and secure?▾
A: Yes. Your brief, files, identity and finished work are confidential — clients only ever see their own orders, enforced at the database level. Everything is served over HTTPS, we never sell data, and you can request export or deletion by contacting support.
29 Q: What subjects do you cover?▾
A: Ten categories and 180+ subjects — statistics and research software (SPSS, R, Stata, NVivo…), nursing and health, law, business and finance, engineering and technical, humanities, theology, social sciences, and professional and business writing. We also handle non-academic work: pitch decks, white papers, research reports, and website copy. Browse Services and click any subject to start.
30 Q: Can I talk to someone before I order?▾
A: Yes — use the live chat on any page, or the Contact form. The first conversation about your brief is free and there's no obligation. Start with one small brief and judge us on the first draft.
